All-CIF Southern Section D-IV Girls
Basketball Teams Announced--(April 1, 1999)
The All-CIF Southern Section Girls' Basketball teams were released (via the SS-CIF faxback service) yesterday, but like the boys teams, they probably weren't intended to be released until April 5, because the sheets we received state at the top "As Selected by SCIBCA, April 5, 1999."
We don't suspect any April-foolery, but if there are typos or selections on the girls' lists which follow, blame the CIF or SCIBCA, not us. We keep telling everyone that we really don't know the girls game well enough to cover it in any depth, and as a result, if there are errors on the girls' team selections (i.e., wrong divisions, misspellings, wrong grade, etc) we probably won't catch them. In any event, here are the Division IV Girls selections as faxed to us from the Southern Section office:
