USDHS Beats Bishop Montgomery, 49-46--(March 9, 1999)

Pat McKinney, of USDHS website fame is still well and alive, but he's up in San Francisco attending the University of California Hastings College of the Law. But that won't keep him from reporting on his beloved Dons.   Here's his report:

Just got a little bit of news out of So Cal. The Dons took out Bishop Montgomery this evening, 49-46, on the strength of a fourth quarter appearance by Mike Malloy. Apparently, he came in with the Dons down 7 and got fouled, made both free throws, nailed a three, and then hit two more free throws. I don't have much else, but it looks like the Dons will probably get a road game on Thursday, unless the 2 seed lost.

We'll have more later, but for now, it looks like the Dons will face San Dimas which won at home.  We've got a short note on that one too, which follows.
