Well, this should be an interesting weekend at Rockfish, since a lot of folks will want to be here and will also want to be over at the Pond on Saturday for the CIF Southern Section Finals, and possibly at Loyola Marymount at 3:00 p.m. Saturday for the LA City Section "Division" final between Jefferson and Poly. But life is all about decisions and choices.
Here are the schedules for this weekend. All games are at Los Angeles City College, which is located on Vermont Avenue, just north of the 101 Hollywood Freeway. The gym entrance is located on a side street just a block below Santa Monica Blvd. Bring along some quarters on Saturday, because the meter maids are out in force and you'll get a ticket. On Sunday you'll want to get there early because parking can be a pain since there are usually soccer games being played on the football field. Don't let the guys charging admission at the gate fool you: If you pay, you can go watch soccer; just tell them you're going to the gym.
