adidas Rockfish Spring League (RSL)
Schedule For This Weekend--(March 12, 1999)

Well, this should be an interesting weekend at Rockfish, since a lot of folks will want to be here and will also want to be over at the Pyramid or down in San Diego at the Cox Arena for the CIF Southern Regional Finals, or over at Cal State Dominguez Hills for the Double Pump "Unsigned Seniors" Discovery Shootout, which will also run all day Sunday as well, and we'd expect that there will be players who are playing on Rockfish teams (or teams in the league) who will be shuttling back and forth between LACC and Cal State Dominguez Hills. (If you're planning on doing that, take the freeways: Best bet from LACC is the 101 through downtown (south) to the 110 south, to the 91 east and get off where the signs indicate for Cal State Dominguez. Coming from Dominguez, just do the opposite: 91 west to 110 north to 101 north, off at Vermont and turn right.

Both events (RSL and Double Pump) are NCAA Certified Events, and occur during the Open Evaluation Period, which is where we are right now.

In any event, here are the schedules and the rosters for this weekend.  All games are at Los Angeles City College, which is located on Vermont Avenue, just north of the 101 Hollywood Freeway. The gym entrance is located on a side street just a block below Santa Monica Blvd.  Bring along some quarters on Saturday, because the meter folks are out in force and you'll get a ticket unless you feed the meter.  On Sunday you'll want to get there early because parking can be a pain since there are usually soccer games being played on the football field.  Don't let the guys charging admission at the gate fool you:  If you pay, you can go watch soccer; just tell them you're going to the gym.
