pump shootout schedule saturday 3/12

For those of you basketball fanatics, fans, parents, players, college coaches and miscreants with nothing better to do than hang around a gym on a Saturday, here's the schedule for all of the games at the Double Pump Discovery Shootout for Unsigned Seniors. For now, at least until we post up all of the rosters, this really won't make any sense except to the coaches, players, parents and friends who all know the names of players on each team. For the rest of you, well, you'll just have to be a little patient because there are 38 rosters, and were going as fast as we possibly can.

This is an NCAA Certified event, and while there may not be a lot of the head coaches who are involved currently in the tournament (at least not those 32 whose teams are still in the Big Dance) or the Not Invited Tournament, that still leaves about 260 other schools whose assistants, scouts and recruiting staff might be there. Hey, we make no promises, just reporting the possibilities of who might be there. And if past experience is any guide, there will be plenty of Division I coaches around because right now, it's just basketball hog heaven. The State Regional Finals are at the Pyramid in Long Beach; the California JUCO Championships will have just concluded at the Bren; Rockfish is up the road in LA, and centrally located to all of it, and running from 9:00 until about 7:00 p.m. tomorrow (ending just in time to drive over to the Pyramid to catch the Dominguez v. Fresno Edison at 8:00 p.m. And that's just Saturday. Wait until you see Sunday.
