CIF State Finals: D-II & DV
Scores & Brief Results--(March 19, 1999)

Our man in Sacramento, Patrick McKinney, is busy tap-tap-tapping on the keys as we write this, pounding out the stories for the D-II and D-V games which were played today at the ARCO Arena in the State Championship Finals.   We don't have his stories yet, but we do have the scores and the stats.   Here's what we know:

Division II Boys

Dominguez 72, Grant 59

Division V Boys

Santa Clara 75, Calvary Temple 68

Division II Girls

Brea Olinda 54, Amador Valley 51

Division V Girls

Chadwick Dolphins 45, Pinewood Panthers 61

Well, it was almost a clean sweep, but three out of four is still pretty impressive.   We'll have the individual and team stats for these games posted up momentarily.
