CIF Central Section Playoffs: Friday
Night's Scores & Next Round Matchups--(March 1, 1999)

The Central Section of the CIF (which is the southern half of the Central Valley, from Bakersfield up to Fresno and Chowchilla) is currently holding their own CIF Divisonal Championship Playoffs in Division I, Divsion II, Division III, Divison IV and Divison V. The Central Section winners (and runners up this year???) will advance to the State Regional Tournament. The Central Section teams, while geographically located in the Northern half of the State, will actually play in the SoCal Regionals. Go figure.

Here are the CS scores from Friday night. These also come to us by way of Nick Wynne, who is a huge Garces fan. Hopefully, we can keep him busy collecting scores and details of games for us, even though his beloved Garces team was knocked out last week.
