CIF SS Playoffs: Huge Bad Corrected:
II-A & V-A First Round 2/17, Not 2/19--(Feb. 15, 1999)

Thank goodness Michael Miller is still lurking about, because without him we probably wouldn't have caught this one in time.  Seems that in our haste to beat everyone to the punch and post up all of the first round pairings and brackets, we failed to note that not all first round games will be played on Friday, February 19, at 7:30 p.m.

In fact, all first round games in Divisions II-A and V-A will be played on Wednesday, February 17 and not on Friday.  In those divisions, the Friday night games will be for the second round play.   We're sure that our little gaffe hasn't thrown any coaches off (if it did, you'd have to wonder how they managed to get their teams to the playoffs anyway), but just to be clear:  Division II-A and V-A are the only divisions holding regular first round games on Wednesday night. 

Of course, other divisions who will be holding Wild-Card games will hold those games also on Wednesday night.  The wild card games are as follows (as before, the first team listed is the home team and the game will be played at the host's gym):

Division I-AA

Palmdale v. Leuzinger

Division I-A

Royal v. Loyola

IV-AA

Oak Park v. Salesian
St. Paul v. Bishop Union
Murphy v. Valley Christian Cerritos

V-AA

Masada v. Cate
Woodcrest Christian v. Desert
Campbell Hall v. St. Margaret's
Villanova Prep v. AGBU
Windward v. Boron
Sherman Indian v. Desert Christian Lancaster
Flintridge Prep v. Holy Martyrs

Again, all games will start at 7:30 p.m. at the host team's gym.
