CIF Southern Section Playoffs: Division V-A
Quarterfinal Round Schedule --(Feb. 22, 1999)

If you've been following our reports of results in the various Division first and second round games, then you should also know about the upcoming matchups on Tuesday, February 23. What you won't know is where those games will be played.

In this division, the "Alternate "Alternate Site" gym rules don't apply until the Semifinal Round, which won't be until Friday, February 26, so we've dispensed with telling you about it here. If you're really interested, you can find it here.

The "Home Team" is listed first below, which will be the actual site the game is played unless otherwise noted. All games are at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Division V-A- Quarterfinal Round Games, February 23, 1999

Upper Bracket Game

Orangewood Academy v. Price
West L.A. Baptist v. Heritage Christian at Los Angeles Baptist

Lower Bracket Games

Rio Hondo Prep v. Laguna Blanca
Pilgrim v. Antelope Valley Christian at Daniel Murphy High at 7:30 p.m.

Why did we separately list the time at Daniel Murphy High for the Pilgrim v. AVC game if all games are at 7:30 "unless otherwise indicated?" Because there will be a doubleheader at Daniel Murphy tomorrow night. Pacific Hills will take on Lucerne Valley in the V-AA game at 6:00 p.m. and Pilgrim v. AVC will follow.
