Quarterfinal Round Schedule --(Feb. 22, 1999)

If you've been following our reports of results in the various Division first and second round games, then you should also know about the upcoming matchups on Tuesday, February 23. What you won't know is where those games will be played.

The next scheduled games in this division are on Tuesday, February 23, 1999 and those will be Quarterfinal Round contests. And if you've been reading about "Alternate Site" gyms, then you know that each of these will be played at an "Alternate Site" which is a gym where the home team doesn't practice. They can play there, but they can't practice there.

Since these games are subject to the "Alternate Gym" rule, and the home team picks the alternate site, the "Home Team" is listed first below, and the actual game site is listed in red.

Upper Bracket Game

Orange Lutheran v. Verbum Dei at Brea-Olinda High School
Calvary Chapel Santa Ana v. Mojave at Estancia High School

Lower Bracket Games

Santa Maria St. Joseph's v. Maranatha at Allen Hancock College
St. Monica v. Crossroads at The Brentwood School

All games begin at 7:30 p.m.

And since we didn't have the report or the score of the Mojave v. Loma Linda game which was played Friday night in the first round, if you guessed that Mojave won, you'd be right, because they did, 67-42. We still don't have any details and really don't know anything Mojave, so Calvary Chapel is on their own for this one.
