Koko Archibong Is Pasadena's POW--(Jan 5, 1999)

We don't mean that he's a prisoner of war either.  Koko (6'-7" Sr. F) who will attend Penn next year was selected as the Boys Athlete of the Week by the Pasadena Star-News.  Koko manged a game high 25 points leading his team to a 58-52 win over La Jolla Country Day in the championship game of the Pasadena Poly Holiday Tournament.  Poly is now 10-0, and Archibong, a four year varsity player scored three quick baskets near the end of the game to seal the win. Poly's next game is this Friday, at Flintridge Prep at 7:30 p.m. in a Prep League opener.  Congratulations to Koko.
